Identifying and then recruiting the right people can be the single most challenging aspect of engagement and consultation.
At Dialogue by Design we believe there are three main methods:
- Profiling to gather information and build representative lists
- Networking to link to organisations and individuals with particular interests
- Outreach to ensure 'hard-to-reach' and minority groups are not overlooked
Stakeholder database
We at Dialogue by Design have a tried and tested approach to stakeholder management - we work with clients to build, organise and manage a stakeholder database more effectively. We have developed a dedicated stakeholder database to assist us with this process, CitizenBase. This bespoke database assists us in compiling stakeholder lists and maintaining a record of every interaction with each stakeholder.
In combination with out expert knowledge, the tool we use alongside the projects we work on, allows us to:
- Collect, store, update and retrieve the names and address details of individuals and organisations securely and systematically
- Tag stakeholders by their interests and characteristics - this can be used to identify the right target audience for consultations, events, newsletters or other information
- Search for stakeholders by post code, name, organisation, and interests
Our stakeholder management system is simple and intuitive to use, can be used to import existing stakeholder lists, and can be accessed by both us and our clients via the web.
