Project Manager, Stakeholder and Public Engagement
Dialogue by Design is a small but growing company working at
the leading edge of consultation and citizen engagement processes
using both the Internet and face-to-face techniques. Our work
centres on engagement processes around environmental issues,
sustainable development, science and technology, corporate social responsibility, local
participation and democracy.
We work in the public and private sectors and over the past two years have run projects for, among others, the Environment Agency, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the World Bank, the DTI, Small Business Service, Surrey County Council, Bedfordshire County Council, the North West Regional Assembly, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London Waste Action, the British Wind Energy Association, the Energy Savings Trust, the Metropolitan police, the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management (CoRWM) and Kent County Council.
We have developed innovative methods of running consultations
over the Internet and integrating these with face-to-face
stakeholder and public engagement processes.
We are looking for a project manager who will oversee
and implement the delivery of projects. The work will
include:
•
Working closely with IT managers and Project Directors
in the design and implementation of face-to-face and
electronic consultations

Recruiting and liaising with stakeholders and participants
in consultation and engagement exercises

•
Liaising with partners, facilitators and clients
•
Managing systems to ensure the smooth running of projects,
including project management systems and databases.
You will be educated to degree level and above, and
ideally have several years experience of working
with clients, customers and partners. You will be enthusiastic,
able to work on your own and using your own initiative,
and as part of a small team. You will have experience

skills or at least the aptitude to learn them.
It is important that you have good interpersonal skills,
can work in a small team and build good relationships
with clients and stakeholders alike.
Our offices are in Thornton Heath in South London (a
